Being based in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia, TRC Timberworks has access to locally-harvested timbers from forests that are sustainably managed.
We also work with a select group of professionals to offer our clients a wide range of natural building techniques that use more local materials, such as straw bale building, clay/fibre wall systems, natural plasters, and earthen floors.

Minimally-processed or highly renewable resources are combined with an emphasis on passive solar siting and natural ventilation, reducing the environmental impact of a building.
We will work with you to navigate the design, engineering, and building permit process. You can contract us for a specific aspect of your project, or we can offer project management and general contracting services.
